Here are 13 essential cocktails for your spirited All Hallows Eve gathering:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Corpse Reviver:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>This classic cocktail is sure to get even the most reluctant guests dancing to the Monster Mash!<br \/>\n<\/em>1 oz. gin<br \/>\n1 oz. Cointreau (or Triple Sec)<br \/>\n1 oz. Lillet or Cocchi<br \/>\n1 oz. lemon juice<br \/>\n1 dash Absinthe or Herbsaint<\/p>\n<p>Shake vigorously with ice, then strain into a cocktail glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Satan&#8217;s Whiskers:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Sweet as temptation, bitter as the realization that you&#8217;ve sold your soul.<br \/>\n<\/em>1\/2 oz gin<br \/>\n1\/2 oz Dry Curacao*<br \/>\n1\/2 oz sweet vermouth<br \/>\n1\/2 oz dry vermouth<br \/>\n1\/2 oz orange juice<\/p>\n<p>Shake vigorously with ice, then strain into a cocktail glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.<br \/>\n*<i>For a sweeter version, Triple Sec may be substituted for Dry Curacao.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Black\u00a0Widow:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>This intoxicating brew is deadly delicious.<br \/>\n<\/em>2 oz. Irish whiskey<br \/>\n1 oz. \u00a0Chambord<br \/>\n12 oz. Guinness<\/p>\n<p>Combine whiskey and Kahlua in a chilled pint glass, then add Guinness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heart of Darkness:<br \/>\n<\/strong><i>This potent blend will make your heart feel like it&#8217;s about to jump out of your chest!<br \/>\n<\/i>2 oz. Fernet Branca<br \/>\n8 oz. hot coffee<i><br \/>\n<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Pour Fernet into coffee, enjoy while hot.<\/p>\n<p><b>Persephone&#8217;s Kiss:<br \/>\n<\/b><em>A single sip of this will bind you to the underworld forever; I promise you won&#8217;t mind.<br \/>\n<\/em>2 oz.\u00a0rum<br \/>\n2 oz. pomegranate liqueur*<br \/>\n1 oz. lime<br \/>\n2 dashes orange bitters<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Shake with ice, serve on the rocks. Garnish with 6 pomegranate seeds.<br \/>\n*<em>If no pomegranate liqueur, you may substitute 1 oz. grenadine and 1 oz. Triple Sec.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire and Brimstone:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Hot and smoky: drink and repent!<br \/>\n<\/em>2 oz.\u00a0mezcal<br \/>\n1 oz. ginger liqueur<br \/>\n1 oz. pineapple<br \/>\n1 oz. lime<br \/>\nHabanero bitters to taste*<\/p>\n<p>Shake with ice, serve on the rocks. Garnish with a lime twist and\/or fresh ginger.<br \/>\n*<em>Add AT LEAST enough bitters that you can feel the burn!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zombie:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>A classic Tiki drink, this cocktail&#8217;s name speaks for itself.<br \/>\n<\/em>1 1\/2 oz. gold rum<br \/>\n1 oz. dark rum<br \/>\n1\/2 oz. white rum<br \/>\n1\/2 oz. 151-proof rum<br \/>\n1 oz. lime juice<br \/>\n1 oz. pineapple juice<br \/>\n1\/2 oz. coconut creme<\/p>\n<p>Shake all ingredients *EXCEPT* 151 with ice, and strain into a glass of crushed ice. Float 151 on top (ignite if you so choose.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fright Night:<br \/>\n<\/strong><i>The only thing more terrifying than this cocktail is the hangover you&#8217;ll be facing in the morning.<br \/>\n<\/i>2 oz vodka<br \/>\n1 oz. Blue Curacao<br \/>\n1 oz. Midori<br \/>\n1 oz. Luxardo Maraschino liqueur<br \/>\n1 oz. lime juice<\/p>\n<p>Shake all ingredients with ice, strain, and serve over the rocks. Garnish with two maraschino cherries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homicide:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Serve and drink at your own risk; just don&#8217;t name me as an accomplice.<\/em><br \/>\n1 oz. gin<br \/>\n1 oz. Fernet Branca<br \/>\n1 oz. Kahlua<br \/>\n1\/4 oz. Chambord<\/p>\n<p>Pour all ingredients into a glass of ice and stir together. Strain into a cocktail glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miasma:<br \/>\n<\/strong><i>It&#8217;s a swirling, toxic cloud&#8230; in a glass!<br \/>\n<\/i>3 oz. Viniq<br \/>\n3 oz sparkling wine<\/p>\n<p>Shake Viniq, then pour into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine. Regret forever.<\/p>\n<p><b>Masque of the Red Death:<br \/>\n<\/b><em>A concoction of little substance and remarkable potency.<br \/>\n<\/em>1 oz. gin<br \/>\n1 oz. Campari<br \/>\n1 oz. Sweet Vermouth<br \/>\n3 oz. sparkling wine<\/p>\n<p>Combine gin, Campari, and vermouth in a champagne flute. Add sparkling wine and garnish with a maraschino cherry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack O&#8217;Lantern:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Honestly, your best bet is just to set it on fire and never look back.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em>2 oz. Jack Daniels<br \/>\n1\/2 oz. sweet vermouth<br \/>\n1\/2 oz. pumpkin spice syrup or liqueur<br \/>\n2 dashes Angostura bitters<\/p>\n<p>Stir with ice, strain into a cocktail glass or coupe.
